3 ] Devotion in Ayodhya after defeating Ravana.

Yash was happy with his devotion, fully submerged into the kirtan of shri Ram. Veer wanted more. He was not satisfied. So, Narad decided to give Veer another glimpse. This time, he showed him the two sides of Hanuman. How strong and fierce a warrior he can be. And how he can be such a baby.
‘Hanuman? A baby?’ Veer laughed at Narad. Yash merely kept up, until they stepped in the divine land of Ayodhya. They witnessed several sky touching temples, across it’s skyline.
‘Wow.’ Yash said, staring at the orange flags and the sounds of temple bells.
‘What time is it?’ Veer asked Narad.
‘This is the time after several days when Shri Ram returned from Lanka with a victory. Lord Ram has completed his duty on earth and he knows it is his time to leave for Vaikunth, his heavenly abode.’
  ‘Why?’ Yash asked him.
Before Narad could answer, he took them inside the palace.
Hanuman was roaming around the palace. Keeping his distance from the maids, by keeping his vows of brahmacharya. After a long search, he found his mother Sita, who was applying sindoor on her forehead.
‘What is it that you are applying on your forehead mother?’ he asked with curiosity.
‘It is sindoor. Lord Ram always feels happy with this.’
The very next minute, in the royal court, Hanuman was seen, as if he jumped inside a river of sindoor, just so that it would make his lord Ram happy. He had covered his entire body with sindoor. He did not hesitate even for a second to see a smile on his lords face. He even faced mockery of people and the courtsmen. But Rama assured him that the faith of the devotee, his what completes the god. A lord is incomplete without a true devotee. That is why, in many temples of Hanuman, he is covered with sindoor.

‘He really did that?’ Veer laughed.
‘Now that you have seen the innocence in him, look at how seriously he does things whatever it may be.’
‘Hanuman.’ Lord Ram said looking at him. Hanuman was sitting patiently waiting for his lord’s orders. Ram continued.
‘Hanuman, I want you to check the palace. Make sure no one comes in.’
Hanuman replied ‘As you wish my lord.’
Narad said ‘It is the time, when Rama knows his death is coming. And that is why he kept Hanuman busy. But little did he know, he was obstructing his own destiny by putting Hanuman in such a place.’
‘What will he do?’ Yash asked innocently.
‘Ram asked to protect the lands of Ayodhya palace. Hanuman will protect the land, water and the skies.’ Narad laughed. The three of them witnessed a chariot coming from the skies pulled by buffaloes and on it, was none other than Yamraj himself.
‘Ayodhya is off limits today Yamraj.’ saying this, a battle ensued and Hanuman drove Yamraj away. The monkey god could resist even Brahmastra, the most feared weapon, Yamraj knew his defeat was unavoidable.

.

‘Then how did Ram die?’ Yash asked, to which Veer replied.
‘Rama tricked Hanuman into finding a ring. And during that time, he jumped into the Sarayu river, accepting death.’
‘And what does that say?’ Narad’s question confused the children.

‘It says that even he had someone like Hanuman who could defeat Shani (Bad luck) and Yamraj (God of death), Ram, like every human being accepted death, because it was his dharma. He is truly a Maryada Purshottam (A perfect and best amongst the men)
